Here I got all the necessary seals, banjos, washers, and bushings to rebuild both front forks for all the XB 43mm models. All are genuine Buell packaged Showa products except the outer tube bushings which are gone gone but those exact same bushings are still available but in H-D packaging for the XR-1200 & V-Rod, same OD, ID and height as the Buell ones. I would like what I paid for them at $82.50 shipped. I also have a Race Tech .85kg/mm Spring Upgrade for the Ulysses to stiffen up the front end a bit for 200-220 lb riders. The Stock spring is a .65kg/mm. These go for around $120. I would like $85 shipped. Also have a Buell XB Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor for $40 shipped. Thanks for looking.

What’s the part number of the springs? Are they X or XT also. I have bottomed out several times just bringing the front down too hard and jumping curbs and the like. I weigh about 160lb but with the forks slipped 1.2 in in the front and an 06 SS rear shock clearance is tight. |

It is FRSP S3732085, I do not know for sure if it will fit XT or not. I bought them for my X, I assume they would but I'm sure you would need to cut the preload spacer tube shorter for the XT. Racetech is pretty helpful and informative if you call or email them with your specs. |

I'm interested in the kit as well. I'd like to firm up the front end on my '10 XB12x. |

Disregard, I believe my forks are 47mm. |

Yeah, definitely different seals and bushings but I believe the fork springs are still the same, the gold valve kits from race tech are the same between the 43 and 47 indicating that the internal valving are still the same but would have to verify with race tech on the springs being the same. |

Thank you for the reply. After realizing the difference in size, I went to the Race Tech site but they don't show any info for XB12x's after 2008. I have sent RaceTech an email and am definitely interested in the springs depending on what RaceTech has to say, thanks again. |

Hello Buelligan, Would that head temp sensor work on an early X1? My HTS is located OUTSIDE of the head on the rear cylinder, sorta near the rear spark plug. If so I'll take it |

Doesn’t look like it, service manual for the X1 says it runs lower voltage at low temps and higher voltage as the temp rises. I forgot to put in my ad, this sensor is for 2008-2010 model XBs. Looking at the service manual for 2006 & 2010 XBs they run the opposite Temp/voltage as the X1. XBs run higher signal voltage at lower temps and the voltage drops as the temp rises. Theoretically this sensor should work for older XB models but probably has a different connector for some odd reason. |

IIRC this part may have been updated over the years to have a different connector than what came on the earlier bikes (03-07). As I recall, the later versions of the head temp sensor included another plug and connector that you would replace on your stock harness to plug into this sensor. My HTS is located OUTSIDE of the head on the rear cylinder, sorta near the rear spark plug. I think I read something from Screamer somewhere, where he commented that the early FI bikes wound up getting the sensor mounted in the same location as yours, but the later ones were moved the center of the head. } (Message edited by 34nineteen on August 24, 2021) |

CVC is more active on the "other site", and has been working on a replacement bushing project for the XB front isolator. |
