Got a 2008 1125r for sale. Currently wearing the CR high bar configuration - changes are listed below. If you have any questions, want pics, or would like to make a reasonable/good offer just let me know. I don't need to sell it but I'm not really a multiple bike type guy and I'd like to get something different. The bike is a lot of fun to ride, and I've ridden it three states away, but I'd like something a bit more suited to cruising/touring and less race oriented. Bike is located in Central Virginia. Please note - picture is taken with Torque Hammer II via TwinMoto. Bike now has stock exhaust on it.
CR front end - lower and upper triples, headlight assy, carbon fiber flyscreen, high bar, and Aprilia Tuono mirrors. Have the complete R front end, with firebolt mirrors to go with bike. Nissin radial MC for the front brake and clutch with reservoirs. EBR adjustable billet aluminum levers (one is black the other is silver/gray - what was available at the time, EBR is laser etched into the front of the levers) Throttle housing and cables, as well as right handlebar cluster from EBR - nice stuff. Oberon slave cylinder for clutch - with this combo I can disengage the clutch with my pinky. Frame thermotec lined - fresh plugs and valves adjusted at the time (9200 miles) have paperwork to show. Headers jet-hot coated. Stock exhaust is back on bike as I didn't like how loud the aftermarket system was that I chose. IDS supplied ECM for K&N filter and stock exhaust. EBR 1190 stator and rotor combo with SH847 regulator - regulator is attached utilizing a modified bracket under the undertail, just in front of the tidy tail plate holder. Rarely see below 14.2 when monitoring the output. VR is never hot. Brembo P32F black rear brake caliper with Galfer Rotor. New belt at around 8k miles - original broke coasting down a hill. Have a second good one which will go with bike. Corbin seat - getting a little hard but still the best seat I've had for 1125 or when I had the firebolt. New wheel bearings at around 11k New tires just installed Metzeler RoadTec Z6. K&N filter Twin Moto intake stacks Shorai battery Uly pegs for rider. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but the bike is in great shape and while it does have scratches and items that show it's age, it needs nothing other than a competent rider. Comes with manuals, front and rear stands, and a few other things as/if I find them. I bought the bike in 2016 from the original owner who had only put 4k on the odo. 5 years later I haven't put much more on it. Sold - to me. I realized after riding around for about five hours today with the stock exhaust that this bike is exactly what I need. She’s still loud, drinks too much, and will kill me at a moments notice but hey, that’s what makes relationships great. |
