I'm looking for a pre-recall Works Performance shock in reasonably decent condition. Don't want to break the bank. |

The WP on the pre-recall shocks stands for White Power believe it or not. It was not a Works Performance Shock. Most were taken back by the dealerships on a recall. SteveH |

The look of the original WP shock was what attracted me to a brand new 1997 S1, back in the day. Imagine how I felt after bringing in my prize possession to the dealer, and getting it back with a beer can looking shock hanging off of it. SteveH |

Yea I know, that's exactly how I felt. What a letdown! But now after a little research, when comparing one to the Twin Cycle or the AST unit, it looks pretty cheesy. |
