Hi everybody, Trying to locate a lower chin fairing for an X1, any condition is a welcomed offer, preferably not a hard to find color or in perfect condition as it’s for a custom project and may end up being slightly modified for fitment and I may end up heavily modifying it then it will probably end up being used to make a mold for a carbon fiber version. Don’t want to destroy anything that could be the gem of someone else’s bike. So if you got a spare with some road rash collecting dust, I sure would appreciate it. |

Is there a thread on addin this chin fairing to an M2?.If so,I would be on the hunt for an original paint black one, but will check on all...If possible i would mount it on my 2000 M2 without permanent mods,I enjoy the challenge.IfI am off base ,this is my first Buell and bein a machinist,I don't say it'll never fit...... |

Hawgford, yes you can mount one on an M2, there are many threads of people doing it. One Harley dealer may still have a brand new one in stock that is Carbon Black. Precision HD in Rhode Island, phone number 401-724-0010. I haven’t called to confirm or ask pricing but like I said I don’t want to possibly ruin anything in great condition. Part number is 59449-99YYB. If not they make carbon fiber ones aftermarket online from China that you more than likely will have to trim and hope it’s not warped, then paint it and find all the spacers and bracket. |
