Bought from this web site in Jan. 2013. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/696730.html?1358629122 Then 5 months later, bought a 2002 ST3. So I have only put about 3300 miles on the XT in the past 6 years. It is a great bike and everytime I ride it, I find myself agreeing with Peter Egan. https://www.cycleworld.com/peter-egan-very-long-term-buell-ulysses-adventure-touring-motorcycle However, I need to downsize and so I am reluctantly offering my XB for sale. Since I had it, I have removed the “Road Lights” that Toona mention when he listed it for sale. I have added a K&N air filter, battery maintainer port, tank bag, added LED stop/running/turn signals to the topbox and replaved the exhaust valve controller. Bought and installed a new battery about a month ago. Over the past two weeks I have ridden the bike about 500 miles just to check it out and it starts, stops, runs just as one would expect for a bike with only 9800 miles on it. Engine oil/filter, transfer case oil and brake fluids have also just been changed. The bike needs new tires and is priced accordingly. They are usable, but old. So as mentioned in the header, I am asking $4500, which is a fair price for this bike, even with the need for new tires. But I would like t see this go to someone who appreciates Buells and will keep it on the road, so I am open to reasonable offers. Thanks for your interest, you won't regret buying this bike.
