i emailed him last night. still kinda high in my opinion. it has crash damage on the left side.

says it needs $669 in registration. Is that only if someone from california purchases it? I don't want the bike- I am just curious how the california non-paid registriction works for someone in another state?

California can't stop you from registering it out of state but I doubt he has a actual title for it. That complicates things as California won't issue a title till any back fees are paid

Hey Guys,
Thunderlust here. I emailed the seller today and offered full price. I can drive to his location with cash.I was looking at a 2002 S3T on the east coast. With shipping over $4500. Haven't heard back yet. Calif DMV sucks!! It's all about the $$

bike went back up for sale in same area. now for $3k plus the back fees hahaha. seller says it has some scrapes... no that was crash damage

i disagree. crash damage, sitting 8 years, $600+ owed to CA dmv. for $3k +/- $500 i can own a clean, not wrecked, ready to ride s3 with good tires.

Yes there is no way I would pay more than 1000 bucks TOTALfor the bike. I bought my 1997 all original with 16k miles all recalls taken care of, and a new top end for 2 grand Last summer.
