So its an upper triple with slightly (1" or so) higher clip-ons? I'll assume it fits in the stock fairing ok, because you can't see in the pic... How much? | ||

Relocates the bars higher and further back. For me, transformed my XB12 from a 'I'll keep it for a while and trade it' to a hang onto forever bike. | ||

In addition to comfort, the Helibar kills the “tiller” effect (understeer) of the stock triple-clamp by placing the handlebars much closer to the steering axis. I’ve owned two Firebolts, and both were transformed by Helibar. I had planned on a third Firebolt, but roadracing is consuming my motorcycle budget, so, I’m liquidating some of my treasures, like this NOS Helibar.  | ||

I can say it fits the stock fairing fine, maybe an inch clearance at the closest point. What are they worth? You can't buy mine. | ||

Some of us have day jobs. Anyways, I don’t know what its worth; was hoping for offers. Not $100 though. For NOS, closer to $400. Very high quality unobtainium. If that’s outrageous, then give me a number. | ||

I have one and it's probably the best mod for a Firebolt. Worth $300 all day, IMO. | ||

I paid $275 used 8 or 9 years ago. I'd say $400 would be a steal at this point for NOS. | ||

Best bet is likely eBay, just because of its rarity. For sure though, Helibar goes a long ways toward curing the Firebolt’s understeer tendancy. For me, it was a mandatory upgrade on each of my XBs. | ||

I thank everyone for your interest. I’m gonna sit tight at $400 here, and intend to run a concurrent eBay auction with a reserve somewhere short of $400 for anyone who wants a shot at a lower price; will let the free market do its job. | ||
