I’m putting my 2000 X1 Red Racing Stripe up for sale. I am asking $3950. I bought this bike from the original owner who was an older guy who didn’t abuse the bike. You can tell he took pride in it and it’s been extremely well taken care of. It has 20,xxx miles, the latest 14.25 shock, Force one-piece exhaust system. There are no cracks in the exhaust. It had a bit of surface rust down just beneath the rectifier. I sanded down this small area, cleaned it up and sprayed with hi-temp header enamel spray. It has a factory Race ECM, factory intake and black plastics. The PO did remove the rear hugger but they are cheap and plentiful if you want to add-on. I recently did all the normal maintenance; cleaned up all the electrical connections, new plugs, fluids, and a few gaskets. I’ve decided to let it go to a new owner because I recently sold an XB and bought yet another tuber, so reluctantly I’ve decided to sell this beautiful racing stripe. As it sits, it needs new tires. If I sell for my asking price I will put a new set on as part of the sale. For anything less I am selling as-is for the buyer to purchase. The bike is located in north Atlanta. I will not be available to show until the first week of March (aprox 2 weeks away) but I wanted to get this up before I leave for vaca.
