Tossin around the idea of sellin the x1 and gettin an xb. Ive owned this bike since 7/17/16. It had exactly 15k on it. I believe it now has 17.5k. Im the 3rd owner. As far as mods go you can pretty much see everything that was added. I believe the PO updated the tensioner. Rear tire has a few miles left on it but will need changed. Front is good for another season. It has 1” risers on the bars and led turn signals front and rear that were installed before storage. I have the originals as well. Clutch is good, brakes are good. The forcewinder in the pics has been removed and a joker was put in its place. Im not sure i like it and may put the force back on. The catch can is ommited as well. I also have 3 seats including the original and a select seat. The front rocker box developed a leak so those gaskets are new. I have the manual too. Title is free and clear.

I have the same bike and yes it is gorgeous!!! The nuc blue frame is just awesome. Someone is going to get a beauty there if you decide to sell it. But I have to ask....why sell it to get an XB? Buy the XB and keep the X1. They are both such awesome bikes but totally different personalities! |

I picked up an S1 back in oct and want to ride that some. Not sure what I was thinkin buyin a bike just before winter I really do enjoy the X1 and it has been very good to me. I would love to keep this one and buy the XB but.... Like I said, I'm just entertaining the thought. I have actually never been on an XB. I could very well hate it. |

I've been closely watching the tuber market on eBay, craigslist, and Facebook all over the country since last June. In that time there have been 11 individual X1s listed on eBay (some were listed multiple times). 6 ended without being sold. The five that did sell went for 2000, 2500, 1175, 1650, & 2950. These were all decent roadworthy bikes, no parts bikes. I don't bother keeping track of the tubers on craigslist and Facebook because I can't tell whether the bike sold or the person gave up. I do know there have been over a hundred listed across the country and they usually stay listed for months. My guess is that unless you're really lucky it's almost impossible to sell one locally. Generally I think seller's expectations are too high. There are a lot of tubers for sale and there doesn't seem to be any interest. It's like everyone that ever wanted one already got one and there's nothing happening to generate new interest. I'd be really interested to hear about other's selling experience, such as how long it took and did you get what you expected? |

Have to agree with Gvelox, Buells do not bring good money, though some XBs sell well. I'm on my third Buell, XB12Scg, after a tuber (S2) and an 1125CR. This one looks really nice and I'd be tempted except it's on the other side of PA and, while I won't say it's overpriced, it's too rich for my blood. |
