i make no claim to expertise on this but I bought a Supertrapp that looks similar to the one pictured here on Badweb. There are some of those Supertrapps that need to be welded on the front of the inlet all the way around, or there is a risk of separation and you pole vault over the can when it does.

As I recall it is the tube frame Buell specific Supertrapps that are flat in the front. I ended up repairing the hangar brackets and exterior of my cone front unit and using just the packing from the one I bought.

Again,I don't know if the one pictured is one that needs welding, but it wouldn't hurt do a little research for safety's sake.

That muffler was recalled by SuperTrapp. You may or may not be able to return it to them for a replacement. I sent them mine, and they replaced it with the Supertrapp branded Buell Pro series, but that was many years ago.
