A very nice clean all original 1999 S3 thunderbolt.New rear isolators, chain adjuster, tires and brakes.Primary and crankcase oil just changed. 25,500 miles but that will change as I do ride this bike.First $2500 takes it home.

Yes, it is very nice and yet all I hear from locals is how I should part it out and make more money,when people start thinking like this and doing it there will be no more Buell's and that will be a sad day.

James - That's a great looking S3! I'd buy it in a heartbeat, I'm just plum out of room. My garage is stuffed, my RX I had to put in the living room...

Thunder - I just had a bike delivered from Maryland to Illinois. Cost was $600 via Haulbikes. I imagine it'd be a bit more to San Diego, but it would be worth it to me. At first look that S3 is worth every bit of the roughly $3K you'd have invested in the purchase price & shipping. And Haulbikes is top drawer when it comes to shipping a bike. Used them several times, always extremely satisfied.

Odd, guess I need to update my profile. Sold that Sportster last year (and the XB also). It was a 94' that I bought as a project. 883 that I converted to 1200 with Buell top end, cams, and ignition. Along with a bunch of cosmetic things. Loved it but let it go to move on to other motorcycles. Wish I could keep them all.

Well it's with great sadness I've decided to keep my S3.Whats one more bike in the garage. The cars can stay outside.I would never find another one and with the prices so low on Buell's and the smile this bike brings me I think it's the right thing to do. Thanks to the few people that showed interest and I hope you all do find a thunderbolt, it is a fun ride.
