Due to financial circumstances... In SoCal mountains, near San Bernardino 2009 Ulysses in ALL BLACK for sale by second owner. Bought by me 1/2011 with 2400 miles in Arkansas and promptly ridden home to SoCal without any issues. Now has just over 16k, all on pavement. Ridden in occasional rain, even snow, but always garaged. Some two-up miles, but mostly ridden solo. Usually at speed. Fuel mileage 43-45 mpg. Can certainly go more than 30 miles after the low fuel light goes on. DAMHIK. You might want to gas up before the light comes on, which is 150-160 miles depending on how full you fill it and how hard you are riding. Never wheelied. Much. Never stunted. But ridden vigorously. Never drag raced. Wrong bike! Not dropped out of a helicopter onto a ski slope, nor used in X Games. Never bounced off the rev limiter. It may not even have one for all I know. All midrange, like all XBs. Run vigorously, but never abused. I have always worked on my own, and after a few years working for the Triumph shop I learned to treat them well so they did not grenade. Easy to rip about on the Buell without abusing it. Well maintained with Mobil 1 V-Twin and Formula+. Runs flawlessly, and needs nothing. A few small scratches away from as-new. Very strong runner in every way. Madstad windshield brackets. These are the BOMB for getting windshield placement just right. Also the aluminum flyscreen. I like metal parts! HID low beam, your choice of high or low seat, Aprilia-type mirrors, heated grips, Buell hard bags and top box. ECM undamaged, rear ground strap added. Yes, it has the usual Ulysses bags. They are nice, but not perfect. I can send photos if you want to see them. They live indoors. Muffler painted regularly with BBQ black, so no rust. Fly in to Ontario Airport (ONT) here in SoCal and I will meet you at the airport. Extras: This from memory, so there may be more... * Spare Wheels. Wow. Champagne XB12X heavy duty jobs, with pulley and brake discs. Bike has the black wheels mounted currently. * Drive Belt. Has a few hundred breakin miles. * Wheel bearings. Several full sets. * Oil filter or three. * Shifter rubber. Hey, it was cheap! * Brake pads. Two sets. * Spark Plugs. One pair. * Extra seat! Like new. * Flyscreen. $5600 with all extras. I would like this to all go together, so not interested in parting out the spares, unless the bike sells without them. Fotos up ASAP. datsaxman |

Hey Folks Still looking for a really nice Ulysses? The newer engine type with the beefed up bottom end? (much stronger!) The newer lower XT model? (the X model is pretty dang tall!) Comes with a ton of stuff, as listed above. Now $5300. |

It's not just height, the XT handling is WAY different than the X. Pure sport tourer. Like "run down sportbikes on sub 60mph twisties" good. |

True dat. I had the 2006 XB12 X and this XB12XT at the same time. The XT is much more nimble that is for sure. Who needs a really nice Ulysses? (Message edited by Datsaxman on November 19, 2016) |
