I've had the Uly since it was new and it's been used for commuting from Ventura to Santa Barbara every day. So it's got almost 110,000 miles on it. It still runs great but just isn't reliable enough for everyday commuting on the freeway. I'd like to get $1500 out of it or, worse case, I'll part it out. I have an extra set of wheels, an ecm, and a few other things that will go with it.    | ||

It's a functioning pipe on the right side. Small hole though. Just gives it a nice throaty sound without being obnoxious. No noticeable change in performance. | ||

Oil every 5k �Mobil 1 15w-50 (Bosch filter) Primary every 10k �Mobil 1 15w50 Belt at 45k and 90k (no failures) Plugs every 20k K&N air filter cleaned every 10k Repair History: Front rotor replaced at 25k Battery at 55k and new one just put in Voltage reg at 60k Fuel pump wire at 65k Stator at 70k Rear wheel bearings at 70k 5th gear bearing at 82k | ||

Important to note that there were no major repairs after 82k. Lots of little electrical gremlins though. It did get ridden in the rain from time to time. | ||

Did you have to split the cases for that 5th gear bearing? | ||

Reepi - yeah, big job. I had the Harley dealer press the bearings. Everything in the motor was within spec. I attribute that to the Mobil 1 and sticking to the maintenance schedule. | ||

That bearing gets poor circulation, and is vulnerable to issues with the belt. Thanks for the datapoint! And yay cranks that go 100k! | ||

Bump. Moving in a week and I would really like to see the bike gone before then. A few of you have shown interest. $1200 if you can come and get it... I'll even throw a spare set of rims, a race ecm, ecmspy cable, jardine exhaust and a bunch of other stuff. | ||

Most issues have been with wiring. It's been ridden in the rain several times over the years and it seems every time I turn around I have a bad connection somewhere. Corroded plug, overheated connector, bad ground, etc. I just can't be breaking down on the freeway at 80mph in heavy traffic when this kind of stuff happens. I rely on my bike every day. I wish I had the time and money to go through the whole bike but I just don't. I had hoped Eric would come out with a replacement but that hope has faded over the past few years. So now it's just sitting in the corner and I really don't want to see it just waste away. Resurrecting this sale. I moved in June and I ended up just taking the Uly with me and I've only ridden it twice since June. It's a total shame for it to sit here rotting. Someone please offer me $1200 and come get it. If it's not gone or at least paid for by next Sunday night I'm going to strip it down and make a coffee table out of the frame and sell off whatever else I can.
