If it was an 08+ year model, I'd be all over it. |

Still Available? How bad is the "small" oil leak? |

Hey Sparky, Sorry I did not respond sooner. YES, the bike is still available. The oil leak is very small. Drip a little where the clutch cable connects to the primary case. It can easily be fixed by installing a new clutch cable. I have the new one and will include it in the sale. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! |

I live about 3hrs away, and I'm very interested. Could you tell me more about the bike, any mods, any issues, cosmetically how does it look? It looks gorgeous in the pictures but they can sometimes be deceiving. Is that a taller windscreen? Any additional info would be nice. I don't want to make the trip and be unpleasantly surprised by something and come home empty handed. Thanks! Hey Sparky, I'm glad you are interested and understand why you would want more info before making a 3 hour drive. So first off my cell number is 815-252-8258 feel free to call me this weekend to ask as many questions as you want. Here is some more information on the bike. I am the second owner. But I purchased it from an older gentleman who thought it was more of a luxury touring bike. It was to fiesty for him. I bought it with only 500 miles on it and he bought a BMW. I maintain all my toys and I'm a stickler about routine maintenance. My riding buddy and helper in maintaining this bike is Mike Kirkpatrick. He is a race mechanic for EBR. I'm not kidding. Ask any of the regulars on this blog and they know Mike. He still works for Erik and he knows this bike. Mechanically this bike is 100%. There are some scratches on the hard bags. I can text you some close ups if we share numbers this weekend. Also, I have the soft bag liners for the side bags and a full Buell service manual. The real service manual the mechanics use, not the owners manual. All will be included in the sale. The windscreen is the medium height model. I had the really tall one, but sold that one. No mods. I did change out the plastic. It was originally the orange. but it's all OEM Buell parts. The front fender is from a firebolt that hugs the tire. I didn't like the upper fender that is stock on the Ully. I love this bike. The only reason I'm selling is that we have two little people ages 3 & 5 that live with us now and the wife wants a new RV for family trips. |
