Man, that bike just can't stay off the market it seems. That used to be Matt Myrhen's bike (Guell). |

I wonder why it keeps popping up. That's a pretty nice setup. |

That's cool that so many old tuber bikes that are on the market have known histories by members on this board. With so many machines falling to the axe, the machines left standing will no doubt become more well known as they pass from owner to owner. One benefit of the buying and selling is that more guys get to have the pleasure of ownership and the riding experience of an old American made Buell sportbike. I have a good riding buddy that is a member of the Edsel club and has three Edsels. Whenever I see an Edsel for sale I'll let him know and invariably he will tell me who owns it, who the guy bought it from, who owned it prior to that, where it came from, and what has been done to it. It's like he is telling me about uncle Charlies hip problem and how it started and how it has developed over the years!!! |

4 speeder: I used to be that way with the 68-70 AMXs around the TC area back in the day. Now the only one I want is the one I used to own. |

Matt bought that Kooks exhaust direct from Kooks just before they moved and threw away the last two they had. I had so many opportunities to buy that exhaust and wanted to badly, but I could never make it happen. This bike used to have a Penske shock. I don't know if the person painted the Penske spring or replaced it with a WP shock and painted it. That's something I would be curious about. |
