For your consideration is my 2001 X1 Lightning in Arctic White and Nuclear Blue purchased from the original owner on August 4, 2012 with 4,700 miles. The bike has never been wrecked and has been an absolutely reliable daily rider for me to commute to and from work in rotation with my other bikes along with a couple of trips to Galveston. Clear Texas title in hand. I started the XB wheel conversion and acquired all the necessary parts but due to other bikes and projects just don’t have the time to give it the attention it deserves. The wife doesn’t like riding it because it’s too ‘raw.’ I am reluctant to sell as indicated by the price and looking for a new owner that can truly appreciate this machine. You can ride it as is ‘Captain America’ style or put the stock rear wheel back on with some brake caliper mount spacers and the included original belt. If you want to move forward with the front XB wheel either move the existing X1 steer tube to the included Cr forks or find another X1 steer tube. From there you’ll need figure how you want to mount the dash and either get handlebar spacers to fit the larger handlebar clamps or get a thicker handlebar. The X1 headlight/flyscreen mounts may need some ‘massaging’ to fit the Cr forks legs. I’ve put ~1,500 miles on the bike, performed the maintenance and mods listed below. Original parts listed/pictured are also included if, heaven forbid, your tastes are different and you want to return the bike to stock condition. D&D Full Exhaust system as many know is LOUD. Included are the original stock headers and muffler if you prefer it quieter. Full service logs available upon request. I am not selling any of the parts separately so if you’re interested in any of the parts the price is $4,500 and I’ll throw in the bike. Purchased at 4,700 miles with the following: Polished subframe Polished swingarm Jagg front mount oil cooler Fender eliminator Clear Alternatives clear tail light lens Pegasus front & rear axle covers I’ve installed the following: DDM Tuning 5000k bi-xenon HID headlight LED headlamp parking light Clear Alternatives LED tail light with animated brake light and built-in animated turn signals(animated turn signals not connected) 1125Cr LED turn signals front & rear LED flasher relay LED gauge lights LED license plate light Brushed billet aluminum dash Pazzo IFX Liquid Ice Blue shorty adjustable levers ProGrip 724 dual density handgrips Aluminum bar ends Buell battery cover Crossroads Solo rearsets Buell Millennium X1 aluminum footpegs D&D Full Exhaust system with headers & collector ceramic coated inside/out, muffler ceramic coated externally Forcewinder Polished aluminum intake system Stainless steel XB rear brakeline w/inline brakelight pressure switch Fiamm Freeway Blaster horn relocated behind flyscreen ECU remapped Kevin’s gas cap fix Kickstand kill switch bypassed & removed Taylor 8mm silicon ignition wires XB rocker cover conversion with aluminum catchcan and K&N vent filter Short stainless pulley guard(painted black) Excellent condition XB Cherry Bomb rear wheel with XB 65T pulley and brake rotor installed with XB conversion wheel spacers New Belt Drives Ltd. 132T Falcon Kevlar drive belt for original wheelbase with XB rear wheel Maintenance: Fuel filter replaced Fuel pump ‘sock’ filter replaced Oil and filter changed at 5,247 Transmission oil changed at 5,247 New EBC rear brake pads New Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires front & rear at 5,216 to replace the original crusty, rock hard Dunlops New battery New Bosch O2 sensor New Engine Temp Sensor Includes the following parts(all in excellent condition) Factory Service Manual Owner’s Manual Original keys Chrome Skull key and old school Buell keychain Pegasus front & rear axle covers Stock left air duct and airbox w/filter Stock rear hugger Stock rear fender Stock undertray Stock belt guard Stock pulley guard Stock plastic dash Stock horn(sounds like a lovesick moose) Stock muffler Stock headers(no dents or scratches) Stock rider footpegs Stock passenger brackets & pegs Stock rear brakeline and pressure switch Stock rocker covers XB rocker boxes Stock rear wheel with pulley and brake rotor Stock drive belt Stock handgrips Additional parts included to complete the XB wheel conversion: Brand new in package XB/1125 Arctic White front fender Brand new in package front axle 1125Cr forks complete with triple trees and handle bar clamp New ZTL caliper with new OEM brake pads Excellent condition XB Cherry Bomb front wheel with bearings, spacer, brake rotor, and new EBR brake mounting hardware installed All mounting bolts for above

I don't get it ? These bikes are so under valued ! This bike is beautiful with lots of upgrades and tons of parts and next to no miles, for $4500 what a deal ! Yet go look at a stock sportster , it will get more $$ and have lots more miles and is have the bike an x1 is. I love my x1 I smile every time I take it out for a rip thru the canyons. Good luck with the sale, it seems like a smokin deal to me . |

Just curious - did the rear wheel conversion do anything to the speedometer/odometer accuracy? Thanks in advance. Love your bike, but is a little too similar to my 99X1 for me to pull the trigger. |

Re: rear wheel conversion speedo accuracy. Probably. How much? I'm sure folks here smarter than me can answer. My stock setup was 27T front and 61T rear for a ratio of 2.259259259 27T front with the new 65T XB rear pulley is 2.407407407 Difference: -0.148148148 To be closer to the stock ratio I would need to change front pulley to 29T for a ratio of 2.24137931 Difference 0.017879949 |

Part of me hopes nobody buys it so I can save up some dough and make a road trip, the other part of me hopes it does sell so I don't have to. That is one fine X1. |

Ok, bump for a few more pictures. Took off the bike cover and unplugged her from the Battery Tender 2 weeks ago to take her to work. First time in over 2 months and she started up on 1/2 a crank. On to some boring pics:
