I'm considering a change of pace, and decided to see if there was any interest in my Buell collection. I have no interest in selling parts. I intend for the buyer to take every piece of Buell paraphernalia from my garage when they leave. The bikes are located in Portsmouth, VA. Here's what I have: 2000 Green S3T with ~18.5k miles - Ridden almost daily and runs much better since I changed intake/exhaust gaskets What's on the bike: -New Twin Shock -X1 handlebars -Large hard bags with liners -NOS stock muffler -Forcewinder -New Brake pads -Aftermarket combined mirror/turn signals -Race ECM -Professionally cleaned fuel injectors What's off the bike: -New Galfer wave front rotor -D & D muffler -Recently serviced Penske Shock -NIB Cooling Fan -New Hot Grips brand heated grips -Stock mirrors, turn signals -Zero gravity windscreen (tall) -Black lower fairings -Upper fairing bags -ECMspy cable -S3T handlebars Project 1999 Red X1 with ~19k miles - Currently separated into all major pieces. Engine is intact. Fasteners are accounted for by either being screwed into their locations or taped to the corresponding item. Was being disassembled for customization, not due to lack of function. Known issues: Leaking original 16.5" shock, broken right hand switch gear, fiberglass fender/underseat bracket is broken -All body work present (i.e. chin spoiler) -New set of LSL rear sets -XB rocker cover/PCV conversion -Forcewinder -Full Buell Race exhaust -Race ECM -Professionally cleaned fuel injectors -PM wheels -Tinted LED tail light unit with integrated signals I would sincerely like to hear any offers or trades. Considering all of the nice new parts, I think this seems like a pretty good deal at $6500, but please tell me if I am wrong. I have varied motorcycling interests, but would probably be most excited by these models: Triumph Sprint 1050 or street triple r, XR1200X, RWB VFR800, FJ 09, generally speaking - any lighter weight sport tourer or naked sport, or even a ktm 390 or 690 If the bikes simply sell, you may be looking at the new owner of an MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso. Having trouble deciding on that one. It's so pretty, but I could buy a brand new FJ 09 and a 390 Duke for the same money. Thanks for looking, I will endeavor to add pictures later. Tim |
