I don't know that I'll have the time, money, or drive to finish this project, so I'm going to offer it up here. The plan was to convert it to DDFI from X1, and thus the wiring harness, manifold, throttle body, injectors, timing cup, and fuel pump are from an X1. I've split the cases, pulled the 5th gear, and drilled the rear boss for an electronic speedometer sensor so that an X1 speedometer can be plugged in (though the Speedo I have is the stock S2 Speedo atm). Afterward I cleaned the cases, checked and greased the bearings, and reassembled the cases with new crank seal. Bike is about 80% complete. It's missing the top end and cams, forks, handlebars, handlebar controls, turn signals, and timing pickup. Fairing lowers and bags/bracket are gone. Everything else is there. I have a spare tail section and fairing (both need repair). Mirrors are modified XBR, not stock, front caliper is Nissin, and front wheel is Castalloy, not Marchisini (can include the front Marchesini instead, but two rotor threads are stripped, would need time serts). Frame is straight, title is clear. $600. I can take pictures of most of the parts tomorrow, but the bodywork is in storage as I'm moving in a few weeks. Hi Phelan im deeply interested in the engine or parts of it (cases/ crank)I have a S2 frame already so these parts would fit perfect and I need some other parts as well Lets talk s.gschossmann@live.de |
