Author Message   Dwixb12xt Posted on Thursday, September 03, 2015 - 10:07 pm:        For Sale: Avon AM44 and AM43 Distanzia tires. Front 120/70 HR-17, Rear 160/60 HR-17. 10 miles on these tires. They were put on by the dealer I bought my new (to me) XB12XT from last month. I was the first and only person to take a test ride. After I got home I put Angel GT's on and now have these to sell. Date codes for both tires are from 2015. I'm a new member here and already sold the D&D exhaust from this bike. My Drummer muffler arrived today and I hope to have this bike on the road this weekend. I didn't want to go that skinny on my X so I got a set of TKC-80s in full width. There are quite a few Ulys with Distanzias I'm aware of, from hanging in the Uly forum the last few years... I did some poking around and found quite a few people using these tires on the Ulysses, so I figured I'd offer them here first. Seems like a dealer cutting cost on new tires TKC 80 are another story. Just like touring tires on a supersport. I am tempted; I know I'll build my DR650 into a SM eventually... 160 does seem a little narrow for the Uly. Spreading the beads of a narrower tire on a wider rim changes the profile of the tire. Might not be an issue, but does not seem ideal to me... bb
