Whether intentional or not, I've been gathering some during my Defender restoration. Please send me a PM and I will send you some pictures of what I got that's available, 1313 |

Have you tried your closest Buell dealer? IIRC Court said there was an ordering error for S3 fairing bags, and that more bags were made than bikes they fit. |

Somewhere.....lord knows where ..... I have a bunch of photos. Someone ...perhaps.....checked the wrong box and ordered like 1,000 sets of liners That was about the time we rented the old school building for our secret parts deport and had various stuff in various classrooms. One room was all decals and Steve ..... The King of All Parts..... Had made some books ..... With actual stickers and decals.....detailing all the graphics and combinations on each model. I one room there were literally pallets of S3 saddlebag liners. The original fairing bags were made by that company..... Someone actually had the name earlier in this thread....that was at 29th and Gage in Topeka. Fun times. Best untold story yet is the Buell backpack for the Ulysses Beaver Tail. |

The Ulysses "Buell Beavertail Backpack" was a high school entrepreneurship class project. Students, working with Bruce Champion at Buell, did market research as to what there was a demand for, designed and marketed the product. It's one of the better, and most practically usefuL, products ever to come from a motorcycle manufacturer. It was well made and always impressed me with the fact that it had features I found very useful and spared me the goofy things that added, in my eyes, no value. |

Cool story Court. I've seen a few "high school projects" that turned out like that. Kids have clean minds, not all cluttered up with decades of faulty assumptions and beliefs. My confusion about "Existing Buell Dealer" is do you mean my local Harley Dealer, EBR Dealer, or are there actual Buell dealers out there still? |

My confusion about "Existing Buell Dealer" is do you mean my local Harley Dealer, EBR Dealer, or are there actual Buell dealers out there still? Buell Authorized Service Providers If they are on board to service them, they damn well better be willing to order parts for their customers. Personally speaking - outside of some restoration parts for my 1998 S3T Defender - I have had pretty good luck with availability of Buell parts. YMMV, 1313 P.S. Oh yeah, to get this thread back on course, an Email with pics was sent to Shawn Friday evening. |

Viking land in saukrapids MN doesn't want order parts. I do a lot of the buell work around here because they're incompetent, but still on the dealer list. |
