Hey guys, been a while since I was here, I need to sell my baby, wife and I had a new little girl back in may of last year, born 9 weeks early, 2.5 months in NICU and a few surgeries and I need some money in the worst way. In that time I did 90% of the maintenance on it as well as a ton of upgrades. It came with an extra set of plastics, service manual, race ecm, and vance and hines exhaust. Items I personally put into it are - h4 hi-lo hid upgrade, supertrapp muffler with all the updated mounts, several sets of intake gasket replacements, custom penske shock set up for a heavy rider, buell cf race intake, baker transmission smooth shift kit, updated shifter, led taillight with sequential turn signals, renthal handlebars and bar end mirrors...and I think that's it. It has been sitting for about a year now with me cranking it here and there, I have no time nor desire to ride. The downsides of the bike? it needs a good cleaning, up until I stopped riding it, I rode it every day, rain or shine, hot or zub zero temps. There is no rear brake, it didn't work when I bought it and I removed it planning on getting the braided line from American Sport Bike, it needs a push throttle cable, the pull cable broke and as replaced, the push cable will need to be replaced. The bike had an issue with popping the ignition fuse after riding for a while, I tracked it down to chaffed fuel injector wires and has been since fixed. It has also been down once, I was riding to work one morning and low sided on the highway, the tank cover and one of the badges got scuffed up and the handle bar was bent, everything else was ok - that's where the shifter upgrade and renthal bar upgrade came from. I also have every single spare part taken off the bike in the time I've owned it..including the old shifter, the old bread boxes...everything..and will be included with the bike. I also have title in hand. Like I said, 2,200 fairly firm price which I know is probably low for this bike but I need it sold fast and I would prefer it not get parted out. Don't forget to list that EBC front rotor too, that's what it looks like anyway. Great that you have all the original shrouds, really wish I was closer! (For your potential buyer, the XB rear brake line is braided and will bolt right on, caliper is the same part number, just requires splicing in the plug for the brake light switch). | ||

Yes, it's still for sale. I pinged the owner yesterday off of craigslist. Did not see it here until today. I'm waiting for more pictures. His wife is sick and baby in hospital praying that all is well. I told him to take his time getting back to me there are more important things in life. | ||
