Would anybody be interested in sets of stainless fasteners? I was going to order some and thought I'd see if anybody else was interested. I figured I'd put them in "Kit" form. Cam cover kit, Primary cover kit, etc |

I was starting from the Fastener list in the Knowledge Vault. Haven't gotten a chance to break it down into kits yet. Kevin - take a look at the list and identify which one's you want 12 points in. I'll see if I can get them. I'll talk to a few places tomorrow, starting with Totally Stainless - I know them from back in my RZ350 phase |

Interesting rz350s to buell , I'm the same way but I still have my Rz 350 plus Rz 500 and of course my buell love them all can't seem to get rid of any just keep adding to the fleet. I know another badwebber that is the same way . There will always be a place in my heart and my garage for a 2strke street bike ! Or 2 or 3 4 5 6... |

once I saw the 4 cyl 2-strokes I knew I should probably find another hobby LOL. The price tag for 2-strokes was worse than Buells and they are even harder to find parts for (?) |

I may be interested as well, is this the whole bike or just the easy to get to motor stuff? |

I was going by the list of fasteners in the Knowledge Vault http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/12223.html?1390355779 I didn't expect anybody would want everything on the list, but rather, items from sections of the list. an X1 Stainless Engine Kit from the website Xldevll posted would be $60. I'll check to see what it would equate to at Totally Stainless. |

I would be looking for primary cover, derby cover, intake manifold and primary cover. The list in the knowledge vault looks incomplete, doesn't have the two larger bolts for the primary cover. All in 12 point stainless please. Kevin |

I was looking at the list and saw the item "SOME EXTRAS HERE, BUT COMPLETE" which made me a tad concerned I figured I could double check the piece count with the Buell parts list and verify sizes on the 3 bikes in the carport. Well, unless they sell before I get it done, but there will be others. I think photos are going to be required, with a corresponding spreadsheet for each "kit". A2Stainless might have better lists that they use but they don't show placement, just the fasteners on a table. Excerpt from A2Stainless: Buell X1 Lightning Engine Stainless Upgrade Kit 1998 - 2002 96 piece Stainless UNC socket capscrew kit for engine casings (component count includes washers) Please note - Allen screws have Milled edges Overview of kit contents Applications Clutch Cover (4) Pushrod Clamp (4) Rocker Cover (4) Inspection Cover (2) Speedo Sensor (1) Tappet Plate (2) Points Cover (2) Sprocket Cover (3) Gear Casing (11) Master Cylinder (2) Primary Chaincase (13) Washers included for all screws This would go faster if I wasn't trying to get the '97 S3 ready for sale ASAP. Need to move one of these bikes so I have some cash to finish the other two and pickup another project |

Speaking of A2Stainless... I haven't bought anything from the UK in about 20 years. Other than the conversion of pounds to dollars, is there anything else I need to take into account? Like VAT? I know... stupid American questions but hey, I can't compare prices without knowing whats what, right? |

Does anybody remember which website has the exploded view diagrams? As I recall they didn't have many Buell parts but they did have the pictures |
