This works extremely well, very adjustable, and mounts/dismounts in a minute or two.

Windshield and rack are still available. The windshield will fit all Lightnings, the rack is for the long wheelbase XB12 models.

Ken,

Does the Ventura rack require drilling holes or modifying any of the stock bits in order to mount it?

If the answer is no to the above....I’d like it. I just don’t know how I’d feel about messing up stock parts in order to use it. I love the idea for a few long trips per year.

The rack does not reply drilling or modifying. Very nice to have a rack. The website has installation instructions...choose Buell and XB12SS.... https://www.ventura-mca.com/fitments
