One set of Palmer Highway Pegs w/pegs. I recently bought these from Buellerman, but before I could get them on, I also bought those new T-Rex bars. Unfortunately, the Palmers and T-Rex bars won't fit together. The Palmers are in good condition, with normal signs of wear, meaning a few paint scrapes and whatnot. In the interest of Full Disclosure: 1. There is a weld repair on one of the eyelets. Seems pretty good to me. Probably better than it was originally (in my opinion). - Photo Attached 2. The right side upright bar curves slightly, around theRight Side Scoop. I bring this up because I've never seen it on another set of Palmer Pegs (Though, it might be original?) What this does is allows the upright bracket to be attached without sawing up the RSS, which we all know is a PINA. Pretty awesome (in my opinion), though I'm not sure if it's Palmer OEM. Anyone? Photo Attached I can't remember what I gave Buellerman for these, though the Palmers seem to always be about the same... Shoot me a cash or trade offer. (I own a 2009 XB12X Uly)

Yeah, I don't know how or why it happens but often I don't get PMs folks send me, and/or the replies I send don't go through... I would assume it's something on my end... but don't know for sure. I've gotten about 9 PMs and replied to all of them, though I didn't get emails from those replies after that... so not sure if they went through... Obviously Nillaice's reply did not... Hmmm... Anyone else have similar PM'ing issues like this? Any fixes? in the mean time, maybe anyone interested in the Palmer pegs can just email me directly. My email is sugarmcguinn@msn.com Thanks. And sorry for the inconvenience. Sugar. |

Microsoft's spam filter often flags Badweb PM's as spam, so users of Microsoft email services (Hotmail, Live, Outlook, MSN, etc) are either getting the PMs in their spam box, or deleted altogether. We have done everything we can including contacting Microsoft, but they won't fix the issue. (Message edited by froggy on December 07, 2014) |

Nillaice, I'm all for that type of thing when it comes to parts like Touratech, and other parts, manufactures have stopped making for we Bueller's. Palmer is not one of those manufactures. He's still making them (and many other things) available to us Buellers... I'd have a hard time looking Ian in the face (or talking to him on the phone) after being party to copying one of his designs. In my opinion, if we (Buellers) start doing things like copying parts that are currently available, manufactures will think twice about designing aftermarket parts for us... And yes, some are thinking about it, and doing it... I cite T-Rex and the new Uly engine guards they just rolled out. I've spoken to Ian on the phone on a number of occasions, and he is incredibly helpful and supportive of our Buell community. I hope you understand my philosophy behind this. |

Totally. I had reservations about posting the question, but I wanted to be honest about my intentions of making a set for myself only, since I didn't get a chance to buy this set. I would not post the plans on the interwebz or even try selling Chinese knock off copies of his ingenious idea. The pictures help, but I will still have to use my own bike for a jig. I'll just have more materials cost and it'll take me longer. I guess you could say that I'm one of those types of people who enjoys working metal and can problem-solve. Apparently Mr. Palmer is too, since these are his products that he markets. My imitation of his creation should be taken as flattery. |

But hey, when your 6'3" and taller even a Uly gets a little crampy on the knees and feet. |

Bsulysses, Thanks for the kind accolades. Your "recliner" is on its way . I would like to add that I did NOT include any "special" tools that you might need for that "Gyno" feeling. None of those in my garage... <grin> |
