D&D header & muffler, came off of an M2, I guess it will also fit S3 X1 but "I" am NOT sure Surface rust on muffler, nothing a wire brush & can of hi temp paint will not cure. Header has a ding the size of my index finger print, not too bad you could probably freeze it out, all other scrapes should polish out just fine. O2 bung is sealed up, you may be able to open it up IDK. $375 plus the ride 10% goes to Glitch & ANN PLEASE SUPPORT THE AUCTIONS FOR GLITCH, LOTS O COOL SHEET OVER ON THE QUICK BOARD!! http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/752268.html?1416139064 (Message edited by k12pilot on November 16, 2014) |

Wish I had the $$$, after owning one of these and letting it go because it won't fit my S2, I'm heavily tempted now to mod the frame to make one fit. These pipes are THAT nice (well, that and I'm wanting to powdercoat the frame anyway, so good timing). |

Is the header the same as the Buell race header? |

It is not. The first inch or two of the beginning of each pipe is slightly smaller than the rest of the pipe. This, according to D&D, increases exhaust velocity and scavenging, but does not decrease flow. The D&D pipe and exhaust make more power than the Buell race pipe and exhaust, so I guess they know what they're talking about. The pipes also do not join together, they individually plug in to a mid pipe where the two exhaust flows come together. The mid pipe also serves as the front mount, of which I've never heard of breaking. It is a tank, and has proven to be Buell-proof. |

That is an awesome exhaust. I have one on my M2 (which sadly hasn't run in a few years). It's got a great tone (on the loud side) and makes GOBS of power. I think they were universal for the M2/S3/X1, mine had a O2 sensor bung welded on, which I think I see in the picture. the plug in mine would blow out all the time, so it's just got a cheap O2 sensor in it now. These were quite pricey when they came out, you'll not find these anymore. (Message edited by awprior on December 06, 2014) |

Chris, if I can find a buyer for my lowers, I would be interested in the collector and muffler, if someone is interested in the headers. I'd have to make my own headers to fit my early frame. |
