I have a set of projector headlights from an XB that have been nicely adapted for an S3. The installation seems a little odd, but they are very steady and aimed well. I honestly can not think of a better, more simple way of doing this conversion. The headlights themselves have been unitized and then mounted in the fairing. Installation of the headlight unit takes drilling a few holes in the "inside" of the headlight shroud of the fairing so if you ever switched back you would not be able to see the modification. The fairing bracket has had the light mount removed to make room for the projectors. You would NOT be able to easily undo this modification. That's why the bracket goes with the headlights. The fairing is in good shape - no cracks or serious damage. But the left side mirror mount area there is some rash that has been painted over. While the modification to the fairing is fairly minimal, I wanted to offer it as part of the package (cheap too). I think $200 for the lights and bracket is fair. If you want the fairing, add in another $50 for $250 total. Shipping is going to depend on what all you want and where you are. PM for photos, it will explain everything much better than my poor choice of words. |
