I have an original set of Gilbert S2 side plates.I bought them back in '02 or '03 and have had them on four different S2's.They have wear from boots rubbing and from tie downs which you can see in the pictures.They have a machine finish but could be polished.The left plate includes the side stand and changes the angle of the bike when leaning on the sidestand.If you look at the link below and click on "Sidestand" in the list you will see the Gilbert plates installed on my S2T next to another S2 with stock plates.http://www.doncasto.net/DonCastosS2ConventionalWis dom.html#S2 Sidestands So for those of you that couldn't afford the side plates that Jolly had made,here is a less expensive alternative.I would like $475 plus shipping. | ||
