Asking $3800. This bike has 32k miles, had front forks completely rebuilt at 26k, new clutch plates & clutch basket with new primary chain replaced at 23k, new front motor mount at 25k, new tires with only 600 miles on them, has hidden rear brake caliper bracket with Brembo caliper and Brembo master cylinder, rear wave rotor, race ecm tuned for custom muffler, Buell sport touring seat. Has chain drive conversion kit with a lower gear ratio than stock, really makes this engine run in its best part of power band. I have all the parts to put the belt drive back on if needed. Other upgrades too numerous to list.

I saw this bike on another forum. Take it from someone who has had many XB models. That's a nicely set up STT. Don't let the mileage scare you. It's worth every bit of that.

I honestly DONT know the seller, nor have I ever talked to him/her

I would like this bike, but I would need to sell one and then some to make the acquisition. I'm sure this bike will be gone in a week.

Very nice. I don't know the poster either, but the STT is the perfect ride IMHO. Poor (actually ridiculously poor) marketing killed this great iteration of Buell model.

Very, very nicely done and a STEAL of a deal at this price.

So how do you adjust for chain stretch without rear axle adjusters? Just replace the chain?

Looks like he is still using the belt idler pulley. Adjusting that that would make up for chain stretch.

It would make up for chain slack as the swingarm moves, but unless it has an adjuster, it wouldn't make up for chain stretch, or for the wrong combination of teeth such that you have an extra pair of links you can't remove.

But maybe once you compensate for slack related to swingarm movement, maybe you don't *need* to compensate for chain stretch. No cush drive either...

It still feels like a step backwards unless you are spending 80% of your time on dirt roads.

Very cool bike though, don't get me wrong. : )

So per my hubby, it's his bike, the chain is adjusted by using the stock idler pulley arm that's been machined with an adjustment slot and then the idler is from EBR for the chain drive kit.
