Selling for a friend.... These are the forks and upper and lower triple trees from a 2008 XB12STT. The owner changed to the 2009 black forks and trees, and these are the take-offs. Very good condition overall. There are a couple small nicks in the chrome on the left slider tube, but they aren't causing any seal leaks at this time. The bike had 22K miles on it when they came off. The powdercoat on the trees are good, but there are the usual rub marks where the cables were in constant contact with them. The bike that it came from hasn't ever been in any accidents. The triple trees don't have the clamp HW, it was transferred to the new trees.
IMHO, the STT had the best suspension of any XB. More travel than the regular Lightnings and Lightning longs, but less than a Uly. The suspension on them is very balanced, I've really enjoyed the time I've spent on them. Part numbers and retail: Upper tree: J0105.1AKCYBD, $124.85 Lower Tree w/Stem: J0106.1AKEYBD, $124.85 Left Fork Assy: J0121.1AS, $379.61 Right Fork Assy: J0122.1AS, $379.61 Total New: $1008.92 Yours for $300 for the whole thing. Shipping will extra, and will ship in the packages the black front end came in. This will ship from American Sport Bike, so if there is anything else you need at the same time, we can ship it together. |

Thanks, Ulysses are very close to that. 6.5". Those would be a good "lowering kit" for a Uly without going all the way to XT height! |

Per the published specs from Buell, the Uly suspension is 6.51" of travel. The TT has 5.7" of suspension travel. I think the spec on the standard lightning long is 5.1" of travel. I haven't been able to find a published spec on the XB12XT suspension travel. The fork assemblies all have different part numbers. |
