Dan8888, You do realize that you have to replace the whole S1 tail section not just the seat right? |

Johnny, it wouldn't be a direct swap. the front of an S1 muffler wraps around the front of the engine to meet the collector, for starters, so you'd need a muffler to go with the pipes above to make it work, plus the bend of the rear pipe is different between S2 and S1 where it comes over the frame rail. not sure the diameter on '96 S1 pipe, but the S2 pipe is 2". |

That's funny, Thanks for the advice sandblast, but I have another 2 seater. And Buelliedan, I am aware that the single seat requires the shorter tail section, I have both. The short one is a bit scuffed up though, Does anyone have advice as to whether I should have it painted or just find a used one in better condition. |

Admin, Did I do something wrong? I don't know what CR or LF means. If I've done anything wrong I will correct it as soon as I find out what it is. I thought I have played by the rules as I have been posted many times and been in contact with many Buellers that have been very kind and helpfull to me. Clueless, Johnny V |

Johnny, you've done nothing "wrong", no worries. when you post pix, stack the commands like THIS: image{bike} image{bike} image{bike} as opposed to THIS: image{bike}image{bike}image{bike} that way the pix format in a fashion more favorable to scrolling up and down as opposed to right to left. i'd fix it but i can't, and the post is too old now for you to fix via the "edit" icon. maybe one of the moderators could take a second to reformat your post? best regards and ride to lean, Ferris |
