I'm selling my '99 Buell X1 Lightning...I just have too many projects, too many payments and going through a divorce and trying to keep the house so I have to reduce my debt to income ratio. Anyway, it's been blacked-out with a semi-gloss finish. The tank cover, flyscreen, fenders, and tail section are all coated to match. It looks pretty sweet but is difficult to take pics of at night so I'll try and get some soon. There's less than 8,300 miles on it! The bike needs a few things done to it which is why I rated it at a 6/10. I'll try and touch on everything I'm aware of but most of it is really minor. It rides just fine. No belly fairing. Needs tires. Needs grips. No key (sort of)...it had no key when I bought it so I bought a matching keyed set so everything but the fork lock uses the same key...I also have a new fork lock with key, it just doesn't match the rest...the locks just need to be installed and the key switch wired in. Someone had installed an ugly headlight so I put the right one on but it needs to be wired in correctly. Honestly I'd buy a new harness and it'd be plug and play...a dealer is selling new ones on ebay for $50! It's been converted to a Mikuni carb which makes a dash light come on since it's not sensing the injectors. I have everything but the intake manifold and O2 sensor to convert it back to fuel injection if you want. If you want to just keep the carb on it you could probably benefit from a good tune up. It came with a badly engineered k&n elbow intake but I have the right side covers/airbox/scoop to go on it with a correct k&n filter. It has a Vance & Hines SS2R exhaust system installed and sounds nice. It came with bar end mirrors and I have a set of lollipop mirrors too. It has a Screamin' Eagle ignition module. Oh because of the no key status the last guy installed two hidden switches you flip forward to turn it on. There's probably more to tell you but I can't think of anything else at the moment...if I do think of anything else I'll post it. Overall it's a nice bike that just needs a few minor things done to it. I'd rather keep it but divorce sucks and I'd rather keep the home than the bike. Message me through here or email me at sales@primordialcycles.com Thanks Nick |

The title was too long I guess so to clarify I'm asking $2,600 for it. |
