Author Message   Buellish Posted on Monday, September 16, 2013 - 07:28 pm:        I have a '95 Ice White Pearl S2 with 20,852 miles for sale.It's a good looking bike that cranks right up and runs strong.It's pretty much stock except for a Vance & Hines SSR2 can and "T" bars.The tires look new,but are Dunlop 205's,date coded August '04.It has some paint chipping around the screws that attach the body work.And some small bubbling in the paint,see the pics below. Now for the bad,it doesn't go in third like you'd want it to.It does go in gear,it's just not as smooth as you would like it to be.The original trans was jumping out of first when I got the bike and just got progressively worse.The trans in the bike now came from a 20,000 mile '99 X1 and was said to shift fine with no problems,so mabye it's the detent plate adjustment. The other problem is a high frequency vibration that you feel in the horn at the front of the seat and through your knees when you grip the tank cover.I have installed new front and rear isolators.The front is correctly installed for the un-notched steering head,flat side up,under the frame.The belt is not too tight and a visual inspection doesn't reveal any engine to frame contact. The bike is in Woodstock,Georgia,just north of Atlanta.I will help with transport. I would like $2000 for the S2.
