I am selling a 2008 Buell XB9SX in excellent condition with 16,756 miles. I am selling the bike, because my wife and I are expecting a baby in January and it is the best financial decision right now. I am asking $5,500 for the bike. The bike has the following aftermarket parts currently installed: handlebar mirrors, shorty levers, Jardine exhaust (The rivets on the Jardine are notorious for breaking, so, when I first purchased the exhaust, before mounting it on the bike, I had it professionally welded shut, on both ends.), K&N air filter, front and rear axle sliders, EBR graphics (I have a brand new, extra set of EBR graphics that I will include in the auction.) breather re-route, and the dual headlight modification (This allows the low and the high beam to function simultaneously, when the “brights” are engaged; better vision and visibility.). I also installed the right-side scoop from Buell. The tires are Pirelli Scorpion tires, with substantial tread left (I have an additional Pirelli Scorpion rear tire that got a staple in it with less than 1,000 miles on it; the tire could safely be repaired with an inner-patch. I will include this tire in the auction, if the buyer wants it.) The bike also will include all of the OEM parts removed: exhaust with less than 800 miles on it (all of the mounting hardware is also included), hand guards, levers, mirrors, belt guards, etc. I will also include a parts manual, service manual, and an electrical manual with the bike. I also have a Buell tank bag that has only been used 1-2 times for an additional $100. This bike has been garage-kept and has been religiously maintained per the service manual. The title is clear and in-hand. Less than 1,500 miles ago, the rocker box gaskets were replaced with the “upgraded” gaskets (The orange gaskets were replaced with the improved, black gaskets from HD; the black gaskets were installed.) The bike is inspected until 5/2014. I am very sad to see the bike go, but it is financially necessary; I have been a Buell fanatic, since I first began riding motorcycles. I also have a Buell jacket (It is in great shape, but is an older-style jacket.) and gloves that I will include with the bike if the buyer wants them. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions/concerns via email or at (267) 664-4169. P.S. I am having trouble uploading pictures; please email me for pictures. |
