From facebook group, not mine Kody Wisner Got a 1995 buell motor for sale, this weekend cash only $600. I was saving it to build a chopper for myself but have to0 many bikes and want to buy a different toy. It was tore apart (still is) to inspect everything before I put it in a bike, all there except any ignition or carb stuff. Has 883 cylinders and heads. Comes with James complete gasket set which alone is around $100. Will fit in any 5 speed sportster frame, non rubber mount. Build this motor into a bad ass performance motor, and keep your stock one as a back up. In Wyoming, Ia |

So lets break this down: it's a 1995 engine which was nothing but a stock Sportster engine with a Screamin' Eagle intake and Buell exhaust. It's in pieces. The 1200 heads and cylinders have been substituted with 883 cylinders and heads. And he wants $600 for the remains? |

Yup, sounds like he took what he wanted off it, swapped parts with his sportster and is trying to sell the remains. Good luck with that hunk. No one here is going to cut their HP and TQ in half. |

I'd actually consider this if I had the money and just build it with a set of 1250 pistons and cylinders and the 1200 heads I have then sell the 883 stuff. Then again I don't have an engine for my Buell so anything is better than nothing. Plus, having it disassembled somewhat works for me so I could coat all the external pieces. All that said, I don't know if I'd pay $600 for it. Maybe a couple hundred but then it'd have to be shipped out here too. Okay, I'm done rambling... |

And remember, being a 95, it's a heavy-flywheel engine... |
