I bought this bike brand new with 20 miles on it in June '07. It currently has 13,897mi. It has been a great bike, but I'm just not riding it as much as I would like. Currently my wr250x and mountain bike get more attention. Some things it has: Micron exhaust with custom tuning by Wheeler's Performance in Robinsville NC--runs great, sounds really mean Helibars upper triple clamp Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires Dark blue bodywork Buell race fork and shock springs Shorai lithium battery Xblights taillight Stock turn signals with amber led inserts Buell tailbag and saddlebags Braking brand front rotor Black gauge background 07 kickstand and inner airbox Fork and swingarm sliders Probably a couple of other things I'm forgetting The only problem I've ever had with it was the fuel light would come on when there was still plenty of fuel left. Buell covered under warranty replacing the fuel pump wiring harness. I've never dropped/wrecked it, but a strap broke while trailering and it landed on the frame against the trailer. There is a very minor indentation from this along with scuffing. I touched up the scuffing with paint and it's not very noticeable. About a year ago I noticed oil leaking. It appears to be coming from near the top of the rear cylinder on the back side. It's enough to leak down to the muffler and get a few drops on the ground after riding. I haven't been concerned enough with it to do anything and it runs fine and doesn't use any more oil than it always has. I'll be sad to see it go, but again I just don't ride it enough. Not in a hurry to sell, but have ideas for future bikes and want to do some modding to a new to me car. Located in Maryville, TN. $3900  |
