I am looking for a new shock for my 99 X1.

Either the stock one that needs rebuilt so I can send it in and still ride my bike.

Or i would really be interested in an exposed spring shock like WP shock. doesn't need to be perfect. I'm looking for a replacement/spare shock.

Let me know what you have, I might be interested or you might be the only offer so.

If I remember correctly, I have a 14.7 inch shock with the front mount as well. I will have to do some checking but I really don't have a use for it. Let me know if you would be interested. I'm thinking about $30 plus shipping.

Mcelhaney - I am interested, what was the reason for twitching from a 14.7/16.5??

Racetech got back to me and said a rebuild would be $180 not bad if you ask me.

The 14.7 was the newer shocks. I don't know of a real difference in performance. If you are going to have it rebuilt by racetech, I could probably drop it off there instead. It's only about a 20 min ride from where I'm at. I will check and make sure the front mount I have is for the short shock.
