Jeff - e-mail sent. BTW, I'm pretty sure I have a lightly used front isolator that I replaced when troubleshooting excessive vibration that I later traced to missing front wheel weights (duh). Someone can have it for shipping cost. Bob (Message edited by bobmcc on February 05, 2013) |

Thanks Jeff. PM sent with tracking # for the service manual. Will send isolator tomorrow. Brother-in-law had six broken ribs (day after Thanksgiving) but is healing well. A formerly experienced rider, he lost traction and talent at the same time. My Shoei, Olympia kevlar gloves and Timbuktu jacket were shredded but did their job... no road rash and he walked away. The swamp oak still has a big grin with bits of Buell stuck in it... |

Isolator is on its way to Jeff. Just in case someone doesn't know the VDSTS, it's used primarily to do TPS resets. It also shows other useful information like engine temperature and RPM which you use to set the idle speed. You need an older computer with an RS-232 serial COM port or a specific Keyspan USB adapter if you don't have a COM port. There are lots of references on BadWeb and an unbiased (IMO) review can be found on bikeland.org if you Google TechnoResearch VDSTS. It's low tech but it works. |

VDSTS gone to Andrejs2112. Anyone interested in a 25th Anniversary sew-on patch? Like new with Buell label on back "2008 marks Buell's 25th anniversary and this patch is a small way of saying thanks for being part of it." There's more words, too. Let me know. Bob
