"PM sent" seems more like a public expression of interest, not quite the same as declaring "dibs", which pretty much equals "I'll take it." In the sequence above (that we can see, may have been edited) S1Owner says "PM sent"; DutchX1 said "I'm interested" while yet deferring to S1Owner. Finally Jim_d said unequivocally "I'll take it." Jim_d has a legitimate gripe, but it's not eBay after all. Amerlin4u is new, and who knows how long he will stick around, or even if he can be trusted $250 worth? The buy/sell forum on Calguns.net has the approach "I'll take it" has priority over "PM sent". But it's still just the 'honor system.' Only counts if you wish to remain... Holy sh*t guys.....wow, I sold it to a board member. I had missed placed it and thought it had been stolen from my shop. I later found it had been moved by a shop helper. I got a email offer literally minutes after I found it and took it. (speak up if ya wanna but I'd understand if ya didn't!). Hey Rex....this is the other Rex in Az I sold that electric blue S1W. It was nice meeting you at the AZ Cafe night and Ill be back as soon as I score another one. | ||
