Anyone interested in a Shorai LFX21A6 battery? Seems like it should work reasonably well in an inline engine and especially one that does not run the fan when you turn the key off. This does not seem to work well for XB series engines but you are welcome to try if you really want. |

Looking to get as close as possible to purchase price, it only has about half a dozen starts on this battery and comes with all the foam pieces (one is a little wrinkled from use). Reasonable offer takes it. Would be fine in a race XB where you can charge it after each race when the fan drains it after shutdown. I estimate about 6 to 7 amp hour real discharge if you are running total loss on the track, but this is only an estimate. For total loss I would recommend a 4s3p or 4s4p configuration to be safe, this battery is a 4s2p configuration. (Message edited by Greg_E on October 16, 2012) |
