jeff, check ebay, usually a nice chin fairing goes for 70-90 depending on color and condition, can be had for less if its a less desirable color or a more used one. i bought a nice one that was the wrong color, lightly sanded it, had a local body shop mix the paint and paint it for 75 bucks, i am sure there is cheaper out there. then go to a dealership and get the bracket and the spacers, about 40 bucks, then buy longer allens to fit at a hardware store, per the specs in the parts manual. Ive got about 175 in mine. hope that helps. Ken |

What's the best replacement for the stock Bosch headlight on an X1. They're freakin' expensive! |

Why are you wanting to replace the headlight assembly? You do know that they run a standard H4 automotive bulb inside right? |

If you just need the glass. Try a BMW dealership. ala Knowledge Vault http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/3594.html?1090849813 |

They sure are. You have to buy the entire headlight bucket to get the glass, to the tune of $150 |

Stubby, I dont have one for the later bikes, but if you know anyone who could use one for the early bikes(97-98), I have one posted for sale in the parts for sale thread. These are the BEST exhaust for Buells in my opinion. Very durable and good look'n. |

Bib if your still looking for a Bosch front lens for an X1, I have one brand new (never installed) from Buell that I never ended up using. It is the lens only and I would sell it to you for $70 plus shipping (actual cost). Let me know or send me an email. I also accept paypal if needed. |
