4000 OBO. located north of pittsburgh last price drop. then to the choppers it goes... id hate to see it parted and i know i can part this for 4000. i just cant give it away. ive been a huge advocate of buells for over 12 years but its not doing me any good to see it sit in the garage while i look for a job. 4000 is a super price for this early bike. vin # 145. handbuilt. billet trees and all the goods that came with the early builds. its red with white frame and pm wheels thunderstorm heads hand ported and polished by libo at megaflo, xb rocker covers. SE cams, 2.5 " header from S1W and supertrapp exhaust. mikuni carb, dyna 2000 ignition, pro carbon hamcan, brand new Michelin pilots front and rear, corbin seat. i have some spares to go with it as well as well as both manuals. around 13000 miles. almost all from me since 1999 when i bought it. clean title in my name. small weep in front cylinder gasket, i keep it wiped off and its not enough to bother adding oil between changes. i have the gasket, just no time... thats what i need for it. ive got double that into it...yada yada yada... ive a got a folder full of receipts and history.... heres a pic. ive got a ton of pics here somewhere... if you are serious, ill get more pics and details. theres more pics of it on that website.... http://jsunstar.smugmug.com/BABES-N-Bikes-1/My-rid es-now-and-Then/11665488_psCRdb#!i=1137631089&k=4tBEr&lb=1&s=A next stop ebay...

took the S2 to the dealer for inspection and to get rid of the base gasket weep. gonna have her detailed too. WOW, I remember why i love that bike, its soooo much fun. especially around the 50-80 MPH range on back roads. wow. how fun. and it only has 11000 or so miles, not 13000 like i thought. rkc00, i checked out a 1125r today, pretty nice, i would have asked for a test drive but had my son with me... |

Leak fixed. Any previous issues taken care of. Oil changed with Lucas as usual. New inspection. Still rides like a champ. Can deliver between Pittsburgh and key west in about a month. Bump. |

I want that bike Jsunstar I'm right in the middle of trading/selling my Duke II. How soon do you need it gone? I'll have to do a bunch of groveling and false promises to the wife. Joel |

I'm just about giving it away now. I just put 650.00 in it this week at the dealer. It's got a shiny new sticker and the approval of Robbie, the only decent buell tech on this side of the country.(you know him if your familiar with new castle. Its still there if u wanna swing by and check it out) . Beg borrow and promise her the world if u want it. I'd like to see it gone within 3 to 4 weeks or its heading to florida... Tell her once in a lifetime deal etc.etc.etc. |

price dropped to $3500 because the wife dropped the bike and cracked the fairing.dropping it 500.00. i just 500.00 at dealer and i got it inspected, new front jug, piston and base gasket,(apparently the front jug was not flat on the bottom)new choke cable and a few other little things. there are no issues at all, it runs strong and fast. i need to sell this asap as we are moving south and cant take it with me....

I love my S2, best Buell in my garage. One of the most beautiful Buell models ever built. People just don't realize just how beautiful, and sexy these S2's are. Looks like you have the S2T bars also. These bikes were the last of the handmade Buells, do you have the signature series stuff also? It only takes one ride to fall in love with the S2. Super handling, great ergos, and it looks like you've already done all the motor work. Someone needs to pick this bike up, help a brother out, and get a great addition to their garage! |

Yeah. A few others are in the same boat. Unfortunately, If it doesn't sell its gonna live in the salt water air in key west. Its as good as corroded to death. I'd be better off parting it out... apparently its worth more that way anyway... Sad. Its no wonder there's so few left. |

I'd trade it for a good flats boat as long as it was somewhere between Pittsburgh and key west and on a trailer... |

I'd love to have you drop it off in New Jersey on your way down south. My issue is not the funds but a wife who does not understand the NEED for than one bike... Same thing happened when I could have picked up a brand new 1125CR for under $6K. Still feel sore about it. Good luck and have a safe and fun trip. |
