Burr, position your cursor over the "border" that separates the index from the main page, then left click and drag the border to the left of the screen. that should help you a bunch, but may not entirely cure the situation if somebody has posted pix "side by side" instead of "stacked", for example as bad_ass_bolt did above. ride to lean, Ferris re: your post below - that's an X1, not S1. yes. no. yes. no. Can the plastic air box be removed from the red 2000 S1 above? Does it look funky w/o it? What about the other side????? Thanks, George in Tallahassee | ||

George, Yes, you can remove the airbox and sidesccop from an X1 but you will need to replace it with a new air filter(about $300) and tank acents from American Sport Bike to cover up the gap(abour$300) | ||

Extra factory painted body parts. I am the orginal owner. This bike has been stored for ten years and was restored to road use this spring with new battery and tires. I bought this bike at age 50. It has never been down or ridden hard. I am retired now, and I can see that it is time to move on. As for pricing, I think $7500 is fair. I realize that NADA quotes a much lower price, supposedly based on dealer reporting. I doubt that more than five '91 Buells are sold in any year through a dealer. Most I have seen are pretty ratty.
