2008 Buell 1125R for sale. In great mechanical shape 9/10, body is in good shape 7/10. Bike was in one accident at about 9,000 miles on it, but everything was replaced that was broken (new forks, new front fairing mount, new front fairing, new windscreen, new right side k-bracket, new headlight housing, right radiator pod). Selling bike since money is tight right now with new job not paying as much as previous job. Bank still has title, but it is a clean title. Never did a claim for the wreck so didn't hurt the title. LFL stays on. Took it too the dealership and they said it was the cluster (although already replaced once) and one is on order. Warranty will cover but have been waiting for over 3 months for a new cluster to show up. I have done all the service on the bike myself, which includes an oil change every 3,000 miles with either Mobil 1 or Amsoil (Amsoil for the last 3 changes). Rear tire has about 8,500 miles on it and will need replacing soon, front tire as same miles but has a lot of tread still. All original brake pads are on with meat still on them (used a lot of engine braking to stop). Oil change needed at 21,000 miles but will use the extra oil I have right now and do it if buyer would like. Belt has less than 10,000 miles on it. Warranty is still good until October of 2014. Did have clutch weep but had that fixed under warranty when the bike had about 5,000 miles on it, and hasn't leaked since. Performance Mods: K&N Air Filter Barker's Exhaust EBR ECM w/Barker Tune with pump gas (still has good engine braking) Visual Mods: Mirror Block off plates (American Sport Bike) Nova HIDs in low beam (6000k) Carbon Fiber heel guards Fender Eliminator Front turn signals in spotter light spot (see pictures) Also Included: 4 quarts Amsoil 20w-50 V-Twin oil filter with o-ring passenger pegs (don't have bolts that hold them on) Service manual and Parts manual. Ok, hate to do this, but I NEED to sell this bike. I owe $3,300 on the loan for the bike, so I'm selling the bike for $3,300. I'm also throwing in a Shoei Large RF-1100 in gloss black (has a Chatterbox XBi2 with it), a size 42 Alpinestars GP Plus jacket, and a pair of XL Alpinestars SP2 gloves. | ||
