Hey all- times, they are a'changin... Given that I've not much ridden my beloved CityX this year, and I REALLY could use the $$$ for several reasons, I humbly offer the good peeps of BW first shot (not up on CL yet)... 2005 XB9SX, first Buell sold at Smoky Mountain HD/Buell- around 25Kish miles. I have swapped the original motor out for a strong running '03 motor, also 983cc, as the original motor developed what sounded like a spun bottom end bearing. Donor motor runs great, by the seat of my pants it feels stronger than the original. Other than that, she's pretty much stock- add-ons are as follows: Stebel horn (still gotta wire in the relay, which I have), Bar-end mirrors Buell accessory seat Ventura rack, plus 45L travel soft pak Buell expandable tank bag (love it!) Lots of extra stickers (tastefully applied), plus good ole Erik's scribbles New, never installed Translucid Blue flyscreen. Also have a set of new front brake pads, not installed. Tires are Pirelli Angel front, Michelin Pilot 2CT rear, both have plenty of life left. Cosmetically, only flaw is from a right side drop, when some drunk douche canoe walked up the sidewalk where it was parked and pushed it over- dude came REAL close to me handing him his aiss before he fled. Frame puck got most of it, but still a couple of scrapes, minor, here and there. I did cut a triangular hole in the original flyscreen to let the horn talk, hence the NOS replacement. Also, depending on your size, I may throw in my Buell jackets and pants- one jacket/pants combo came out when the Ulys did, the latter jacket was the last available when they closed. My new MCN lists the bike's value at $3720, of course I don't expect that, hoping to get the better part of $3K for her. Drop me a PM, good peeps, and we'll talk. | ||

Bump, also forgot to mention I have the factory shop manual to boot. I now have 2 crappy cel pics to send anyone if need be- basically it's a CityX with bonus dirt and stickers, and a very few proper mods. | ||

I found a photo of this bike for you. I spotted this at the Homecoming 2010 if I recall correctly. I wonder if it still comes with "all" of the comfort accessories?  | ||

  Thanks, Brin... THAT was a great weekend! I don't think I'll use that pic for any CL ads or nuthin though... Good times a'plenty were had on my good ol' XB- hate to see her go, but sentimentality gets trumped by the honeydo and gottado lists. | ||
