I really hate to do it but I'm putting this bike up for sale again. I like this bike A LOT but need to finish fixing up my condo so I can buy a house. Here's the original ad: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 644531.html?1319100237 Bike has had the rocker box gaskets done with Hylomar to serve as back-up to the new gaskets. All rough spots on the inside of the cover were carefully smoothed prior to reinstalling the cover. I rebuilt the fuel pump with a new filter, pre-filter sock and all new o-rings. Also wrapped the wires with some clear fuel line to protect them from chafing. Had some fueling issues after the rocker box thing since I ran it dry on old gas. Bike is running properly now. Muffler has been sanded and treated for minor rust and resealed with a heat resistant semi-gloss black paint. Primary fluid has been swapped to Mobile One 20W50 synthetic. Aluminum sliders, front and rear, polished by yours truly. 6513 miles on it at this time. $5300 OBO PLEASE buy this thing before I start buying TouraTech guards and bash plates, I'm afraid I won't be able to bear selling it if I go that route. I'm happy to travel a couple hundred miles to effect the sale, so if you are a ways off I'll meet somewhere in the middle should there be a need. -Mike |

As I bought it (before the passenger pegs, two up seat, sliders, white airbox cover, Laminar lip, turn signal mirrors, snazzy flyscreen stickers and sexy red cargo net) |

$5100? I'm getting pretty close to what I owe there but have a little more to work with, just hoping to get something for the parts or I can sell them separately... |

Hey man I'm still in the market for a spare air box cover and would prolly buy your yellow one and the number plates if the price is right. Think on it then pm me a price. GLWS, I'm sort a tempted but since I already have one it's a little hard to justify |

Do you know if that is the same yellow as "Barricade Orange?" If so, consider me interested in the yellow airbox, as I'm looking for a match for my summer flyscreen! Thanks, Doug |

Doug, yes, it is "Barricade Orange" but Keith (1bigeasy) made an offer last Summer, so if I sell it he's definitely got first dibs. Gotta look and see what I paid for the white cover and then price appropriately. yellow cover has about 5,000 miles on it. |

Alright, NADA shows value for this bike at $4900 and change for avg retail, it doesn't take into account the intake, heated grips or any other aftermarket accessories. $4950 if you want to haggle lower I will have to keep all extra parts so I can recoup my expenses in the sale of those. I really want to give fully stock as an option to a potential buyer, then will sell any left over parts from there. |

In case anyone besides Mark was watching, I'm pulling the plug on the sale of this bike. There are plenty of older model Ford trucks around in decent shape, selling the financed truck and buying one with the leftover cash. I like bikes more than cars and will be just as happy with an older truck. Anyone need a well maintained '03 extended cab F150 with new tires? It has Buell stickers |

1bigeasy, Airbox covers are going for a lot on ebay, but I hesitate to sell at those prices... ...and then I'm wanting to be able to make it stock at my convenience. So I think I'm just going to keep it for now. |

All good. A few years ago there was a bass boat company that had an ad with a pic of a guy pulling a brand new boat with a 10+ year old truck. The copy was "tell this guy he needs to save money on vehicles, he'd get an older truck" |
