Bike looks good and ran great until last weekend. It has a salvage title so it's not worth much all together. For those that have parted out a full bike, what did you end up with? Thanks. | ||

It really depends on whats wrong with it, a fully functional motor alone could net you a grand alone, but if it doesn't run you are pretty much stuck with selling body parts, $1500 that Wolfo68 sounds a bit on the low side, but that is a realistic number. Remember that not everything will sell, and the time and effort needed to take it apart. | ||

If motor doesn't run, disassembly and sell in parts; heads, crank, pistons, stator, ect. Those parts are worth as much as the whole if they're in good working order. Heads and pistons are valuable to sportster and tuber guys wanting more power. If you decide to part out I would be interested in the subframe and tail pieces and maybe the upper triple clamp and bars. | ||

Thanks for your inputs. I'll try to get it apart this weekend and assess it. If anyone wants to let me know what they might be interested in, keep 'em coming. If I do end up parting it, I'd rather sell in a few big chunks than take it down to nuts and bolts. It also has the Scg suspension swap done to it, and I have the regular suspension as well. Frame has small dents on both sides, currently covered up completely with the oem stick-on frame sliders. It's also polished, okay job, it looks like it wasn't completely disassembled to polish. | ||
