Is these extra kit included with the $4,500 price?? Also, I noticed that you had your Buell serviced at H-D dealer in Rochester NY- why? Because you lived there before moving to LV? Or was that during the road trip? 30k miles on your bike- was it mostly in-state riding or ? Have you done any adventure riding? Any off-road or back road trip? Just wanted to know where this bike has been? It won't scare me away or shy me away if you have because it tells me that this bike has been tested. Also, you are approaching 30K so are you hearing any funny noise that may seem a bit off? Some Ulysses start making funny noise around 30k which could mean valve loosing or push rod getting off. But that should NOT be the issue with 2006. Just had to ask anyway! If I do decide to buy it, would you be open to me paying right away and wait for open window on nice weather between NV and NC? I had bad experience with seller who after sold me a bike would threaten to put bike out in street if not pick up sooner forcing me to ship it instead of riding it back home so never again! | |||

Or was that during the road trip? Servicing Dealer was Cyclestop; Great Folks, Really did me well with the warranty work. Okay...the Cliff Note version. It's been a rough three years. Lived in Western & Central NYS 10/1957-11/2010; Light Riding in late 2009 and 2010 due to work commitments rebuilding Process Plant destroyed by fire. Discovered on 7/17/10 I was not "needed" any more by former employer. Shut down riding to conserve funds and avoid any catastrophic injury w/o Health Insurance. Relocated West for Work.....1st six months ....too busy to ride with new job. Mother Died in Maine 5/11 and I had to tend to her affairs Finally start riding, in late July and realized Air Cooled Bikes and Hot A$$ summers are a dangerous mix. > 30k miles on your bike- was it mostly in-state riding or ? I felt extra vibration. I inspected and replaced the front motor isolator and that seemed to cure the vibration. That's so wrong. Check my posts on ADV......hopefully you and judge my character (and realize I am a character) Heck I'll ride to NC for a nominal fee. I would be couch surfing...courtesy of the tentspace thread and loving ever minute of it.

Wow, that's a killer price. It's killin' me that you sold the bash plate and other Touratech guards already, but that kinda keeps me in the market for a Uly anyway. I need to read through your adv rider stuff... and sell the STT I bought in Vegas a couple years ago... then I'm in. Anyway, bump for a nice price, even if I'm not able to take advantage of it atm. -Mike |
