I just made a deal to buy another bike or this would have caught my eye. I love the lights. Do you have any kind of build thread for them what you wired into etc etc? Its be greatly appreciated. Also whered you get that lil bracket your post tags are on? |

I fished wires all the way back to the tag light (which I do not use because I made a hole for the rear light to shine through onto the tag). I used 3 pin molex connectors so I can easily remove the fairings without messing about with wiring. The rear running lights are hard wired no connectors because they are stuck onto the undertray. I bought the SMD lights off eBay and they are damn bright and run on 12VDC so it's a no brainer to install them. I did replace the self stick tape because it failed. I used some 3M VHB and it is holding up pretty well. Forgot to mention the American Sport Bike axle sliders front and rear and the CF heel guards on the swingarm. I've done so many things to the bike I lose track. Even had a back up cam on there for a while to eliminate the mirrors altogether, but it was cheap and finally failed...so I took it off. Not sure what you mean about the post tags. My tag fractured so I made a lexan sammich to hold it together. The inspection sticker tag came with the bike from Roanoke Valley HD/Buell. I also rerouted the fuel tank vent line. |

Just a note about the accessories. I have not tallied them up but I know I've put a about $1500 into stuff. Race ECM $250 Barker $400 Tour Saddle $200 Side Fairings $400 Sliders $100? Tail Tidy $75 CP 360/Pegs $150? ZG ST Screen $80? CF guards $50 I figure the stock bike in this condition is worth maybe $4500 without the accessories. As I said in the OP "No reasonable offer refused" so I hope some one that is looking for a good deal on a well loved 1125r gives me a PM. I am not happy to sell my baby, but I need to raise some quick cash. (Message edited by mountainstorm on November 22, 2011) |

Looks like my baby might have a new home. Of course I am conflicted, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do... |

Looks like I might be able to save my baby from the chopping block...got some guy interested in my Kubota RTV 900. I'd rather sell that than my bike any day. Just got to wait and see what happens first. |
