1999 Buell X1 Lightning 14000 miles $2800 OBO Within the last 2 years: New primary gasket. New throttle body, injectors & seals. New header head studs. New rocker box & head gaskets. New plugs. New battery (Spare battery included in sale) New stator & rotor New brake pads F&R. The bike has: American Sport Bike CF under tail with lock (separate to ignition key) American Sport Bike CF chin fairing Buell “blue weave” CF tank cover w/nostrils (Rare) E-bay CF fairing, CF tank fillers & CF front mudguard SS upper belt guard. American Sport Bike 1 inch bar risers. Corbin Seat + spare seat. Buell Traction Grips (ends cut to accommodate 3rd Eye Bar End Mirrors). No rear fender but a nice License plate carrier. American Sport Bike LED flashers/indicators w/correct flasher unit. LSL Sliders LED tail light (Functions as combined tail light + flashers/indicators. Wires are there I just prefer the look of separate flashers/indicators). Screaming Eagle ignition & plug wires. Buell adjustable Brake lever. Spare header Original black tank cover w/decals Original black fairing Currently in need of a new rear tire (Brand new Pirelli Scorpion Sync included in price but not mounted) Front tire: Pirelli Scorpion Sync, about ˝ worn. HD Syn 3 in both holes. (Last changed @ 10K service) The bike runs well. Garage kept & currently stored. I’m selling because I have recurring back problems & I have bought a Uly. I want this to go to someone who will look after & enjoy the bike. It’s kind of an incomplete project for me. However, money talks! Located in NE Florida & ready to sell! Yeah. I had back surgery in "91 & the riding position is killing me. I purchased a Uly recently as the riding position is much better for my health. (I did manage to fall off of it @ Suches, though!) I would love to keep the X1 but I can't manage more than 100 miles on it without spending 3 days getting over the backache! C'est la vie! Chris C |

oh..ok. I hope you get a good deal, The undertail, corbin and mirrors by itself could be a good deal if sold separately, Just my opinion. cheers! |

I want it to go to a Bueller. If I have to sell on E-Bay or Craig's list I'll take off the good stuff & sell "as is". Chris C |

If you end up keeping it, a pair of Blast handlebars will just fit and help the ergos. |

Tried it. didn't help! (I own a Blast). I bought the ULY so that I could ride w/o getting backache. Chris C |

UPDATE: Not that anyone is gonna buy it right now but... The new rear tire is no longer included. (I put it on the Uly) Desired price remains the same. (I cannot edit the original post) Chris C |
