1999 Buell Cyclone M2 COMPLETE BIKE, clear title, all components are good except the tube frame is bent. Rideable as is, and runs great. Will part out, but would prefer to sell complete. Excellent candidate for a Sportster engine swap, chopper custom, or a winter project bike. Same engine as the Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster (technically a 1203cc) but has the Thunderstorm heads for more hp & torque. This Buell has had all the appropriate recalls performed on it to include the upgraded shock and a robust exhaust mount that will not crack from fatigue. The belt was also replaced during a manufacturer's recall, it has maybe 6,000 mi on it. Unique to this bike: - Factory tachometer - Comfort grips - Bar end mirrors - Forcewinder intake with K&N filter - Titanium Wileyco Exhaust (Italian manufacturer, looks and sounds great) - Avon rear tire and Dunlop front with < 1,500 miles - EBC front disc and carrier with new brake pads (replaced <1,000 miles ago) - Front wheel bearings also replaced at same time as front disc - Brand new battery (<1 month old) - Custom aluminum footpeg relocation brackets (higher by ~1-1/2" to prevent contact with the ground during hard cornering) - Custom aluminum shift lever/linkage and brake pedal - Stock turn signals and brake light replaced by LEDs - Rebuilt rear disc brake and new pads < 200 miles ago This bike has just over 25K well-cared-for miles, always stored indoors or under a cover, and is priced to move. Asking $1600 or best offer. email me at brett.knutson@gmail.com for additional info.

Tube frames can be straightened pretty easily. Tubes are bent to make the frame and unless the walls get kinked (like the whole front end folded under), they're no worse for the wear. These guys will get it better than new for not a lot of money. In fact, factory race teams use the services of Computrack to 'blueprint' their chassis (not all factory chassis are actually straight). http://www.computrackboston.com/ |

@ Greg_cifu How much is 'not a lot of money'? You have me curious now, might be worth riding up to Boston for... |

You'll have to call them and ask. Ten years ago, it was something like $500 to do a whole 'blueprint' job on a tube-frame BMW. I think it depends on how much work you do upfront. They may or may not want the whole bike. Sometimes they just want to jig the chassis on a surface plate, take measurements and tweak from there. They may want it partially disassembled to make their job easier (bodywork off, maybe the fork & triples, maybe rear wheel). Everything you do upfront will cut down on the overall cost. |

If you part it out I am interested in the shock, bar end mirrors, front fender, and ignition with key. Let me know |

Would this motor drop into an x1 without issues other than fuelling? Anyone? Thanks! |

Hm. I'm not far from NoVa...might be interested. Molten Orange? Hard to tell from the pic...any pics of the tweaked section of frame? Is it from a laydown? |

Doesn't seem like he's checking this regularly, but it's probably sold. I offered to pick it up but he said someone was sending him a check... |
